DC Townhomes

Charlie's Place provides breakfast, social services, legal and medical services, and classes to homeless people. The organization also sends speakers into the community to talk about solutions to homelessness.

Community Council for the Homeless at Friendship Place

The Community Council for the Homeless enables people in upper Northwest who are, have been, or are at risk of being homeless rebuild and sustain their lives.

The Community for Creative Non-Violence's mission is to ensure that the rights of the homeless and poor are not infringed upon and that every person has access to life's basic essentials -- food, shelter, clothing and medical care.

The Community of Hope provides services for homeless and low-income individuals and families, including transitional housing, social services, family education and health care.

DC Central Kitchen

The DC Central Kitchen is founded on the premise that waste is wrong, be it food, money, or the potential for people to live productive lives.
