Volunteer with Youth  
 
Offers mentoring between adult volunteers and children primarily from single-parent families. 
 
Provides shelter and services to homeless and at-risk children and youths.
 
Provides youth with the opportunity to have a voice in the city's programs, policies and actions.
 
Serves high-risk children, particularly in the Shaw neighborhood; assists homeless families; and helps high-risk teens become successful adults.
 
Helps at-risk children develop educational and vocational skills, make compassionate choices, and recognize their options.  
Tutors and mentors children in DC's Anacostia neighborhood; sponsors field trips; and offers doctor and dental visits, summer camp, scholarships, and educational advocacy. 

Joy of Sports Foundation

Uses sports and physical play to help children learn life skills and mature by building concentration, cooperation, self-esteem, imagination, relaxation, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
