Domestic Violence
 
Operates a 24-hour hotline; counseling services for rape and incest survivors and their families and friends; a program to accompany women to hospitals, courts and police proceedings; low-cost self-defense classes; a library, and a wide array of community education programs.
 
Provides education and training within the community, performs individual and systems advocacy, conducts research, and serves as a local and national resource on domestic violence.  
 
Seeks to eradicate domestic violence and empower women to take control of their lives. The organization provides safe, confidential shelter, programs, education, and advocacy for battered women and their children.
