Offers free health insurance to working parents with children under age 19. DC Healthy Families recruits volunteers to provide information about the program to the public.  

 

Plays an important role in raising our city's children to be productive adults.  Volunteers are needed to provide homes to thousands of children who desperately need a safe, loving place to live.
 
Provides neighborhood-based child welfare services through the Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA). Organized as a broad-based network of community partners, the group works to prevent abuse and neglect by providing intensive services to at-risk families.
